About the Journal
Al-Jabir is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal publishing original research in computing and engineering. It is published by ResearchBuddy AI Ltd.
Aims
Al-Jabir exists to give careful, well-executed research in computing and engineering a route to permanent, citable publication, including work from researchers and institutions that are underserved by the established international journals. We evaluate manuscripts on the quality of the research itself: the soundness of the method, the honesty of the reporting, and the clarity of the argument.
We are not interested in novelty for its own sake. A well-designed study with a negative or confirmatory result, reported clearly, is more useful to the field than an overstated claim, and we will review it on the same terms.
Scope
We welcome submissions across computing and engineering, including:
- Computer science and software engineering: algorithms, systems, software architecture, programming languages, software quality and testing
- Artificial intelligence and machine learning: methods, applications, evaluation, and the practical deployment of learning systems
- Data science and information systems: data engineering, information retrieval, databases, applied analytics
- Networks, security, and distributed systems
- Electrical and electronic engineering: signal processing, embedded systems, instrumentation, power and control
- Applied and industrial engineering: computational methods in mechanical, civil, and industrial engineering
- Computing in applied domains: health informatics, educational technology, agricultural and environmental computing, and other applied areas where the computational or engineering contribution is substantive
Interdisciplinary submissions are welcome where the computing or engineering contribution is central to the work rather than incidental to it.
Manuscripts outside this scope will be returned to the author without review, promptly, so that no one's time is wasted.
Open access and permanence
All content is published open access at no cost to readers, under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Licence. Every article receives a permanent DOI through our Crossref membership, so that citations to our content remain valid indefinitely.
